World Class / World Cup / Pro / Elite / Cat 1: *This is consolidated nomenclature of ‘really fast folks!” Race Organizers, over the years, have done their best to address how to denote this Category. The FISM has embraced them all, to eliminate confusion.

WORLD CLASS – OPEN (Up to 17), (18 and Up on December 31, 2023) – there is no restriction of Master Skaters from competing in the Open Division (18+)

MASTER 35-44 – All World Class-type skaters aged 35-44 on 31 December 2023

MASTER 45-54 – All World Class – type skaters aged 45-54 on 31 December 2023

MASTER 55+ – All World Class – type skaters aged 55+ on 31 December 2023
